He received his Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2021. He is Board Certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center (ANCC). Jim received a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014. Fourteen years of nursing experience provided Jim with a broad base of experience in adult and pediatric bone marrow transplant/cellular immunotherapeutics, general nursing, and adult and pediatric psychiatry.

Jim works collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, psychologists, and other health care providers to provide individualized care. He offers evaluation and medication management for mental health disorders. His areas of focus include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD.

Outside of Summit, the adventure of raising his three children ages 10, 8, and 7 and a Bernadoddle, alongside his wife of 15 years completes his life.
